Downtown Farmers Market | Every Wednesday until October 25

Check out the Downtown Wilmington Farmers Market at Rodney Square every Wednesday from 10 AM – 2 PM until October 25! See the outdoor space come to life with the fresh local produce, plants, flowers, crafts, and food trucks! Sit in the shade and enjoy live music on select days.


Ladybug Music Festival | June 2

The Ladybug Music Festival, presented by Chase Bank, is back on June 2nd! Established in Wilmington, DE in 2012, The Ladybug Festival is the largest, free celebration of Women in Music in the United States. Enjoy seven different stages with a 100% female-fronted lineup on the 400 & 500 blocks of N. Market St, and check out local food and dessert trucks, merchant, and artisan street vendors, and more!


Clifford Brown Jazz Festival | June 21-24

Visit the 36th Annual Clifford Brown Jazz festival from June 21-24 in Rodney Square! Each year, Wilmington, Delaware remembers Clifford Brown, a brilliant trumpet player, unforgettable composer, and dynamic entertainer. This year’s lineup includes Angelique Kidjo, Marquis Hill Blacket, Cory Wong, Melani Fiona, Keyon Harrold, and more!


Wilmington Street Food Festival | July 15-16

The Wilmington Street Food Festival is back for 2023! Head down to the Riverfront from Saturday, July 15th to Sunday July 16th to enjoy food from Wilmington’s best restaurants and food trucks! Plus check out their live entertainment, vendors, axe throwing, family fun activities, and more!


Delaware Shakespeare Festival | July 21 – August 6

Downtown Brew Fest | August 12

Hosted by Chelsea Tavern, the Downtown Wilmington Brew Fest features dozens of local breweries and over 100 beers. Listen to the live bands and DJs, while enjoying beer-friendly food from local eateries, food trucks, and a home brew competition.


Constitution Yards Beerfest | August 12

August Quarterly Festival | August 21 – 28

This weeklong festival is the oldest African American religious festival in the nation. Celebrating religious freedom, freedom of speech, and the right to assembly, the festival concludes with a Sunday Service at the Chase Center on the Riverfront and the August Quarterly Festival in the Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park Enjoy music, storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, food vendors, and more!


Delaware Burger Battle | August 26

Since 2012, Delaware’s most competitive chefs have come together to put their grills to the test and battle for burger supremacy at the Delaware Burger Battle! Once you enter the arena, you can go from booth to booth and taste test all the participating restaurants and vote on their favorites!
