Bellevue State Park Spirit Tours (Oct 26-27)

800 Carr Rd, Wilmington, Delaware 19809

Originally a du Pont family estate, Bellevue State Park has a rich history dating back to the 1800s. While no legitimate paranormal investigation has taken place on the property, staff say that multiple spirits have been heard laughing, and sometimes screaming, on the second and third floors of Bellevue Hall. The state park is hosting several nightly ghost tours in October to explore the grounds at Bellevue, Bellevue Hall, and the lesser-known Cauffiel House.

Out & About Magazine’s Halloween Loop (Oct 28)

On Saturday, October 28, Wilmington’s biggest night out continues for the 38th year as 12 bars join forces to host this revered citywide costumed pub crawl. There is no official starting point, so select the nightspot you’d like to visit first, pay the $10 cover, and you will receive a wristband that grants admission to all other Loop venues without paying another cover. Venues include Chelsea Tavern, Ernest & Scott Taproom, Firestone Roasting House, Timothy’s Riverfront Grill, and more. Be sure to wear your best costume, as many of the venues host costume contests, and the “Loop Patrol” gives on-the-spot prizes for creative costumes. You won’t want to miss this Wilmington tradition.

Resident Horror Halloween Party (Oct 31)

Our very own Halloween Party will take place on Tuesday, October 31, from 6-9PM in the Resident Lounge. Join us for some mischief on Halloween night, and give your neighbors a good fright. Come dressed are you are, or in the threads of the season. If you miss this bash, we’ll consider it an act of treason. We’ll provide the treats, if you leave the tricks at the door. But feel free to bust a move on the dance floor. It’s shaping up to be a wicked good time, so meet us in the Resident Lounge from 6 to 9.
